This article from NPR just released hours ago details stories from the Ascension Healthcare attack.
The article describes a nurse nearly administering the wrong narcotic to an infant in the neonatal intensive care unit. The unit had been forced to resume paper charting until the computer systems were available again. The unfamiliarity with the charts, and simply being out of practice was almost disastrous.
Often it is difficult to fathom how "cyber attacks" (they even sound make believe) could impact everyday life. This is a poignant example.
